访客 人工智慧新創公司 OpenAI 週三宣布正在向所有 ChatGPT Plus 和 Team 用戶推出進階語音模式（Advanced Voice Mode），該功能使 ChatGPT 的對話更加即時和流暢，並新增自訂指令（Custom Instructions）、記憶（Memory）功能、五種新聲音和改善的口音。

— OpenAI (@OpenAI) September 24, 2024OpenAI 表示，ChatGPT 的 Plus 或 Team 用戶在獲得進階語音模式的訪問權限時，會在 App 中看到通知。經過實測，iPhone 手機用戶在更新 ChatGPT 之後就能使用進階語音模式，並能選擇 Maple、Spruce、Sol、Vale、Arbor 等 5 種新聲音，這使得 ChatGPT 的聲音總數達到 9 個。
OpenAI 表示進階語音模式增加了自訂指令（讓用戶可以個性化自訂 ChatGPT 的回應方式）、記憶體（讓 ChatGPT 能記住對話內容以供未來的對話參考），並改善了特定非英語語言的會話速度、流暢度和口音。
OpenAI 執行長 Sam Altman 也在社群平台上宣布進階語音模式推出的消息，他表示這將在一週內完成（一週內逐步向 Plus 和 Team 用戶開放）。
